*Prophecies
Jesus (Yeshua) has fulfilled every Prophecy given in the Torah and Tanach, proving Himself to be the Messiah of Israel, that Hashem had promised.
Behold, the hour is at hand and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.
1. It is written in the Book of Psalms 41:9
Even my close friend in whom I trusted,
Who ate my bread,
Has lifted up his heel against me
And the Scripture was fulfilled: Mark 14:10
Then Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went off to the chief priests in order to betray Him to them.
2. It is written in the Prophets: Zechariah 13:7
“Awake, sword, against My Shepherd,
And against the Man, My Associate,”
Declares the Lord of armies.
Strike the Shepherd and the sheep will be scattered;
And I will turn My hand against the little ones.
And against the Man, My Associate,”
Declares the Lord of armies.
Strike the Shepherd and the sheep will be scattered;
And I will turn My hand against the little ones.
And the Scripture was fulfilled: Mark 14:50
And His disciples all left Him and fled.
3. It is written in the Prophets: Zechariah 11:12
And I said to them, “If it is good in your sight, give me my wages; but if not, never mind!” So they weighed out thirty shekels of silver as my wages.
And the Scripture was fulfilled: Matthew 26:15
And said, “What are you willing to give me to betray Him to you?” And they set out for him thirty pieces of silver.
4. It is written in the Prophets: Zechariah 11:13
Concerning that “princely sum” at which they valued me, Adonai said, “Throw it into the treasury!” So I took the thirty silver [shekels] and threw them into the treasury in the house of Adonai.
And the Scripture was fulfilled: Matthew 27:3-7
3 When Y’hudah, who had betrayed him, saw that Yeshua had been condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty silver coins to the head cohanim and elders, 4 saying, “I sinned in betraying an innocent man to death.” “What is that to us?” they answered. “That’s your problem.” 5 Hurling the pieces of silver into the sanctuary, he left; then he went off and hanged himself. 6 The head cohanim took the silver coins and said, “It is prohibited to put this into the Temple treasury, because it is blood money.” 7 So they decided to use it to buy the potter’s field as a cemetery for foreigners.
5. It is written in the Prophets: Isaiah 50:6
I offered my back to those who struck me, my cheeks to those who plucked out my beard; I did not hide my face from insult and spitting.
And the Scripture was fulfilled: Matthew 27:26, 30
26 Then he released to them Bar-Abba; but Yeshua, after having him whipped, he handed over to be executed on a stake.
30 They spit on him and used the stick to beat him about the head.
