GOD CHOSE ISRAEL AS HIS SPECIAL PEOPLE, AND THROUGH THEM ALL THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH WOULD BE BLESSED IN YESHUA, HaMASSIAH (JESUS, THE MESSIAH), BY THE GOSPEL MESSAGE OF SALVATION
"...And in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice."

This promise shows the divine purpose to bless all nations through Abraham's descendants, which includes, first and foremost, of course, to Israel.
In addition, in the book of Isaiah 2:3, it is mentioned that “out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem” which highlights the importance of Israel as the source of the Word of God for the other nations.
Finally, in the New Covenant, the apostle Paul speaks about Israel as the people chosen by God to bring the light of the Gospel to the nations: In Romans 1:16, he says, “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” Here, Paul acknowledges that the Gospel is for all people, but he also highlights the order in which it was presented: first to the Jews and then to the Gentiles.
